Quadsys have been working with the relevant organisations to achieve these latest classifications.

These achievements were a direct result of the entire organisation working together in effectively developing and maintaining the quality system in order to be registered. Meeting the ever growing customer demand for the highest levels of quality is vital to success in the ultra competitive industrial and high tech markets.

"Achieving ISO 9001:2008 & 14001:2004 certifications are a tremendous milestone for both Quadsys and our many customers who look to ISO as a measure of long-term quality and reliability." said Paul Cox, Managing Director.

ISO 9001:2008 Certification

ISO 9001 is a standard against which the Quality Management System of a business is evaluated. It can apply to all companies; therefore it is worded to allow it to be adapted and non-prescriptive. It is, however, intended to demonstrate that a business can provide a consistent standard of quality. The standard does not require you to be specific to the products or services but applies to the processes that create them. Most importantly, it is a common sense and practical method for improving processes.

This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2008 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.

ISO 14001 was introduced in 1996 and revised in November 2004 as an International Standard to appraise an organisation's Environmental Management Systems.

It came about because of growing concern worldwide about the environment and the effect of modern industrial processes on it. Naturally, the UK Government is trying to reduce the concentration of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere, and locally, councils are providing more and more recycling centres for bottles, cardboard, paper, redundant white goods etc.

The ISO 14000 family addresses various aspects of environmental management. It provides practical tools for companies and organisations looking to identify and control their environmental impact and constantly improve their environmental performance. ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 14004:2004 focus on environmental management systems. The other standards in the family focus on specific environmental aspects such as life cycle analysis, communication and auditing.
